International Solo DanceSport started in 2001 under the auspices of Solo Dança Latina, birth child of Mark Dooley.

We started with Solo Latin and  a few years after Solo Energy was borne, encompassing popular dance styles such as Hip Hop.

On the back of Hip Hop we added Solo Classic, which is a combination of four Classic styles.

In the last 2 years Solo Dance SchoolSport has been initiated. Solo Dance SchoolSport has been created to enable school children to be able to take part in multiple dance styles as a school sport.

Children can qualify for District, Provincial and National colours. The aim is to make Dance accessible to all, no matter of financial or cultural background.
